Why does it never happen over the equator?
I'd have given my right eye tooth to have caught the solar eclipse that just happened.... bbc.news had a great article. Which I read. Seething with envy at the Spaniards. Who apparently had an almost perfect view.

I caught a lunar eclipse once, but never a solar eclipse. Either because I never know what the hell is going on, or because I'm too lazy to look out the window. *lol*
we never get solar eclipses

but we did get a birds eye view of the last complete lunar one.
THAT was way cool :)
I know. We have to just look at the wonderful photos the lucky folks get to take.
