Work

Well now - the office I am working in is going to be shifting on 18March 2004. Shifting to Beach Road. Prior to this job, I had never really had the luxury of working so close to home. Bugger! Here, let me show you what I mean......

Office = Tampines.
Home = Pasir Ris.
Holy crap, by public transport (i.e. bus aunty is now my best friend) it's less than 30 minutes. And that's with waiting time included.

Compare :
Last job I had was with a luxury hotel in Grange Road. Before that? marketing consultancy at HarbourFront. Taxis to work were not a luxury. They were a damned necessity to avoid spending 1.5 hrs and up on buses and trains.

Oh well, all good things never last, do they?
