I haven't been this eager to see a movie since LOTR.
Can't wait for War of the Worlds.
Or The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
Or Fantastic Four
I remember reading (and re-reading) the books for War of the Worlds & Hitchhiker's Guide, and the comics for the Fantastic Four. The imagination took flight, the mind's eye was filled with all these fantastic images, the spirit soared.
Take the Tolkien classics, LOTR. I was gifted the trilogy in 1987 by an Aunt whose book cupboards I'd continuously plundered. Raided. Carted off by the armload. And since then, I've read the book at least twice a year. When the movies came out, it was sheer hyperventilating pleasure for me to see them (almost) faithfully brought to life.
Guess I'm waiting to see if these 3 are done well.
Natural introvert, learned extrovert.
