Day II

Oh kay.

Day II over and done with; and one more down. Did I mention that the other 3 girls in training with me are all under 20? Holy crap, it's hard to sit down and try to absorb info when there's all this giggling going around. Oh well.

Will also be working this weekend. ggnnnnn.... I finish up with the current division this weekend, rest on Mon (public holiday), then off to the new division at 0800 on Tuesday.

DAMN!! TOO EARLY!

By the way, for some reason the training to-day was interesting. I'm right in the heart of things, since the new division is smack dab in the company's core business. INSURANCE. And I'm one of those people who'll give insurance agents a grevious time. The irony is both telling and rich.

But here's the cincher. I actually found parts of the training fascinating! I suspect it's because
(a) I get to see the underpinnings of the company
(b) I won't be doing any selling and
(c) I know that unlike the other 3 girls, I'll be moving on to another part of the call centre doing back-end support work. Not actual call centre floor. Dealing with the general public in any industry is a fucking thankless place to be in. And since I've had 10 years of working in contact centre environments,
I know what I'm talking about.

Unholy glee, I know, but there you have it.
