Based on what I found, it would seem that the Brits have a less staid approach to humour.
Found on Reuters UK, amusing articles on
(1) the continued coverage of a duck that has a nest at the White House
(2) 3 MIT pranksters who submitted, for a conference, a paper consisting entirely of computer-generated gibberish (and worse, having said paper accepted).
What's ironic is that the American version of Reuters didn't touch either article, in spite of the fact that both articles were of American origin and content.
Curious, no?
