Tiny houses and dreams

Maybe because I'm from Singapore, but portable houses seem so attractive. Just pick up, drive where you want and set down roots for the night.

Found via Music and Cats, the website of one Jay Shafer, who designs and builds these tiny houses. And tiny they are! I believe the smallest is something like 6 ft X 8 ft (that's smaller than my bedroom)




Imagine parking by the beach, overlooking a breakwater, cool night breeze...........surrounded by those malay families in tents, screaming children everywhere, teenagers playing ball whilst lousy radios blare out music that crackles. Then the parking aunty coming up to your house and asking for your overnight parking coupon...... argh!!
