Testy

God, but I'm in a testy mood right now. And right at the top of my shit-list is reality TV shows. What the hell is wrong with people? Idol? Amazing race? The Apprentice?

People in real life are already so screwed up - why watch and dwell on a TV series which deliberately plays up the scandal, the bitch-fests, and the spectacular screaming matches? Why are they fascinating? Does the audience thrive on the shows because they would never have the courage to do something like that themselves?

Argh!

I've got the answer: I wrote a very phat, very faux-pas, avant-garde novel fulla dry, sardonic satire: "La Mort Avoisinante: Faite Accompli". Big, boisterous, fulla bravado and ballistic beneLOVEnce. Relentless like gravity, gratuitous like glue. I fire with both barrels and come-out-swinging. Apart from collecting flug from the dryer, check with my mommy... -Sensei KK

i think part of it is that we love to watch. i only watch 4 reality shows: survivor, the amazing race, the apprentice and big brother. for me, i find it amazing that they just step out of the normal routine and do this. their lives are never the same after. i have tried to get a friend of mine to go with me on the amazing race. i want to try out for that show. the other option is survivor. there were local tryouts last year where i am and i went. i was not picked. but i will try again.
