So much for a quiet night in.

Ths sister comes up to me just after 10.30PM and gushes "HOT! So damned hot! Let's do something!" After a quick discussion, it's rush-rush and hurry-hurry to get both girls showered, dressed + after-dinner-dishes washup. And we're off to the movies.

It's been a good week for movies. First there was Cursed, which turned out to be surprisingly platable (given such IMAGINATION in the title naming dept). And this evening it was the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

If you like the typical glam-type hollywood-glossy movie, you're in for a disappointment. It's a British movie, which means clever dialogue but unspectacular effects. But the movie doesn't disappoint at all, if you've read the book.

My favourite bit? When Arthur Dent is taken on to "the factory floor" by Slartibartfast! That fantastic scene was, to me, worthy of the movie tix price itself. Loved it to bits!


Next up, Batman Begins and Mr & Mrs Smith. Yummy!
