Fantastic 4

w00t!

That's the sound I seem to have latched on this week. And that's what I hooted as the credits rolled for the opening to Fantastic 4. (Along with the credits to Stealth, which I am determined to catch. Fancy flying and hot machines!! But that's another story.)

What a film!
It shows you what happens from scratch, builds up the rivalry from scratch, emotes the human spirit behind it all. You really feel for The Thing. Great human angle. Awesome entertainment. Nothing will come close to the awe-inspiring LOTR trilogy but it's pretty great to see a comic strip come to life and done well. Especially a strip I used to read as a kid.
