Indonesia. Again?

J and I were discussing the plane crash in Medan.

Wa lau, eh, Indonesia damned fucking sway, man.

Couldn't have said a truer word, J.
But we also discussed the fact that
(i) Indonesia is one of the most corrupt places in Earth
(ii) The plane that went down was a local airliner
(iii) What's the bet that parts meant to be replaced, weren't? And servicing guarantees couldn't..... well..... guarantee?


Catch 22 all around? And so symptomatic of this tragic country.
