This is just too weird."An Australian man built up a 40,000-volt charge of static electricity in his clothes as he walked, leaving a trail of scorched carpet and molten plastic and forcing firefighters to evacuate a building..... Frank Clewer, who was wearing a woolen shirt and a synthetic nylon jacket, was oblivious to the growing electrical current that was building up as his clothes rubbed together."
In the first place, what kind of cheap ass material is your suit made of? *amused* I mean, I don't think you can get static built up like THAT if you wear all natural fiber. Someone. Anyone! If I'm wrong, please feel free to correct me!
And secondly, when you reach out your hand to touch objects, wouldn't you feel the static sparks? I've had that happen to me and it's not funny. Some sparks are so strong, the sensation's quite stinging.
Just weird!

That is just amazing! I've never heard of anyone building that much of a charge from static electricity. Awesome!
me neither - i thought it was really intersting. must be one of those fluke conditions where everything was just incredibly conducive!
