Cashing in on Peter Jackson's genius, some people are turning LOTR into a musical.
If it ever comes to Singapore, I am steadfastly staying away from it. For some reason, I find it slightly offensive that such a great story is going to be turned into a 3 hour musical. I feel that the story should be read, absorbed, turned with the mind's eye, and felt as only one's soul can intepret it.
A musical seems to be slightly farcial.
