Just found something that made my evening.
Surf by Transparency International if you're curious. I was. I did. From an article on corruption found on BBC News, no less.
Now don't get me wrong.
I'm not one of those idiot, fanatical, tree-hugger types. But I did find it interesting that there is a (fairly respected) organisation that tries to "free the world of corruption".
My fellow men over at TI, you'd have to bring about the extinction of the human race, to drive out corruption. But that is another story, for another day.
What DID catch my attention, however, was the Corruption Perceptions Index which has apparently been released for 2005. So where are my old favourites? I see Indonesia and Iraq have tied, amongst others. All languishing at the bottom - the top 10 most corrupt nations on the face of this planet.
Amazing how some things never change, eh?
Natural introvert, learned extrovert.

Interesting...
Of course, if I was a cynical type, I’d be asking how much some countries paid NOT to be in the bottom bracket !
Dave - wouldn't be ironic, though, if someone somewhere paid?
