Haha - this is for men to note!
"Women have more nerve receptors, which causes them to feel pain more intensely than men, according to a report in the October issue of the journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. On average, women have 34 nerve fibers per square centimeter of facial skin. Men average just 17."
Men may scoff, and feminists rail, but I'm fully accepting of the fact that women are the (physically) weaker sex. I enjoy it. I sometimes even revel in it. Where the hell is the fun in embracing another soft, smooth body?
But as I type this, I realise it's at odds with something I remember reading somewhere else : that women were better at *enduring* pain more then men. Perhaps we're so used to it that we "take" it better?
Interesting, yes?
