Amazing

Finally went to catch Aeon Flux....

..... which, by the way, was perfect weekend viewing. Visually interesting, slick, killer sound track, and nothing very much else. 5 minutes after you walk out of the theatre and the movie fades from your mind pretty fast :o but I digress as usual.

On my way home, on the bus, the most unlikely of thing happened. I bumped into an old friend. An old school mate of mine from 14 years ago, to be precise.

I board, I scan for a seat, and there is only one available towards the back of the bus. I walk towards it, I start to sit down, and notice the seat's other occupant is looking at me. As I turn towards him, I realise (oh BOY) that it is Jimmy. We turn towards each other with the same look of incredulous amazment, simultaneous exclamations of YOU!!

It's Jimmy! From the 4th Student Cuncil! From Tampines Junior College! Jimmy! With whom MBA hung out with, played karom & captain's ball with. Along with assorted other pranks and jokes. Holy shit. The last time I saw this bugger was at Bernie's wedding and THAT was at least 7 years ago. Perhaps more.
