I DO have something else to say.
If a company is going to drop 150,000 emails over 4 days; BUT plan their operational details (like who's going to reply to queries?) 3 days before, you know you're in FUBAR territory.
Just thinking of a mere 5% response rate, which in itself is amazingly complacent, means you're looking at replying to 7,500 emails. At 150 emails a day, that would take me, oh, 50 days to cover everything. 50 days. When the turn around service level is one working day.
These guys are in for a surprise.

Maybe it is too early, and I didn't have coffee, but I did not understand that, lol. Maybe if I read it again later...
All I got to say is have fun. :)
Yea piss poor planning know all about it deal with it on a daily basis. I am glad to see that the rest of the world does everything ass backwards.
OK I got it now, coffee helped. I like your use of FUBAR, I don't hear that too often anymore.
Hi Greg and Rob,
Piss poor planning is easy to prevent. Says a lot for the company I am seconded too. But since I am just a grunt, I am keeping my mouth shut. If it cannot be completed, I will simply drop it onto their laps.
And yeah, FUBAR was too, too apt. lol
