Why?

I sit here having my weird salty egg dish and I wonder.....

..... what is it with cats and sinks? Does anyone have a kittie who likes to sit in his/her sink? Is the sink completely dry when they sit in it? Do they sit in the sinks, then come and rub their fur on you? (Since cats are wont to wind themselves around their humans?) Does it freak you out, knowing your cat may have slightly dirty water on their fur, which they then proceed to rub against your beds, furniture or bodies?

How the mind races! Heh!
