What is it about funding useless surveys?Optimism is good for the heart, a study said on Monday.....Previous research has suggested being optimistic boosts overall physical health and lowers the risk of death from all causes. A positive attitude also has been shown to help patients who suffer from heart disease caused by narrowed arteries.
Oh good grief. They did a survey on this? Something that has been known to health and care givers around the world? Hospitals have known about it for eons, yes? This is why we have volunteer helpers? This is why they have special children wards? Hospices encourage volunteers too, yes?
A positive attitude will trundle you along the pathway of life in spotlights of warmth and hope. You don't have to be happy 24/7, which is sick and perverse to the people around you, but it does help to propel you along.
Sometimes I despair at the sheer wastage of money.....
