Learn the skills, boyo

My insatiable lust took over.

Lust for movies, that is. Didn't go to the beach. Went, instead, to see Underworld Evolution. They were right. It's got more blood, more gore, more explosions and a pretty hot scene where the 2 leads have sex in your face. But it was good.

Walked back home from Tampines to Pasir Ris without a twinge of muscle. Happy, because the last time I walked back, I had calf cramps. But no walk is without adventure.

Saw this large-ish malay guy overtake me on the walk. Fine, everyone walks at their own pace. Saw him again about 150 metres on, sittting at the side of the pavement, speaking on his cell. This, in itself, is not strange. What WAS strange was that we were on a pedestrian island, along one of the busy intersections, the junction of 2 very major roads. I looked at him as I walked past and that was it.

Or so I thought.

About a block away, I heard a loud "excuse me". I was walking on the right side of the pavement and since I had my headphones plugged in, I looked up and around. No one! I scanned the surroundings and had to pivot 360 degress before find the same malay guy standing directly behind me. DIRECTLY behind me. Jesus, what was this guy thinking?

My heart was still pounding. Who the hell is this guy, creeping up on me? I asked him what he wanted and he blurted "Can I get to know you"? Crap. He looked about 20. I wanted to ask him how old he thought I was. Did it seem like I was interested when I looked at you as I walked past earlier? Not interested, I replied curtly and stomped away.

Came home and regaled my parents with the story. My Dad said I should have been more gracious, and he's probably right. But this guy needs to learn a thing or two about creeping up on women on the street at 10PM at night. It is Not Done.

Oh well, at least I know I have IT, whatever the hell IT is, at 34. Heh!
