This report makes me so damned angry.

Two British men have been jailed for six years in India for sexually abusing boys at a homeless children's shelter in Mumbai (Bombay). Teacher Allan Waters, 58, and Duncan Grant, 61, a charity worker who set up the shelter, were both found guilty of child sex abuse. The pair, both from London, were also fined £20,000 (US$35,000) each.

The shelter's Indian manager William D'souza was found guilty of aiding and abetting the men and given three years. The court also fined him £64 (US$113).

Grant and Waters had been charged with child sex abuse and engaging in unnatural acts with children. Judge Paranjape said the convictions should deter paedophiles from believing poor Indian children were easy prey.

He said a committee would be formed to decide how the fines could be used to rehabilitate the victims.

A teacher and a charity worker. For crying out loud!! Both professions supposedly in the forefront of caring for and the nurturing of our children?? So was the centre set up as a front to channel children to them? What bastards, to take in children who are already so desperate, and then take advantage of them in such heinous ways.

What miserable fines, what lousy sentences. They should be locked up and the key thrown away forever. You think they would have changed in 6 short years? You think they will not be a danger when they are 70? Pedos are evil. If their peckers won't work, they'll find something else (anything else, possibly!) to insert. This is not a crime of passion. It is a sickness of the soul.
