I'd really like to attend a political rally.
Both the oppositions, and the current ruling party. But wouldn't you know - the polls are this sat. And this evening I worked until 11pm. Tomorrow's shift is the same. And we go to the ballot box on Sat. It's a pity because I'd have liked to hear what both sides have to spout. Lunch time rallies are out. Looks like the last evening rally..... also out. The first time I'm truly interested and I cannot go.
Dad attended one this evening. Was having dinner as he went up to bed (the downside of a shift job, eh?). Apparently he thought it was a bit of a circus. One man walking around yelling I'm not mad! I'm not mad! I'm just angry! but at the same time exhorting people not to commit suicide, just vote opposition. Heh. Suicide? Not mad? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA....
No hecklers, but all those in the front were apparently having a good time just yelling back at the speakers and inciting them to further comments.
I'd have liked to have seen that. Damn!

Hello you :o) Me an Aljunied person here, so going to a rally was a must. Ended up going for three (two from WP and one from PAP) and it was darn interesting hearing what they had to say. And the characters that attended these rallies ... you see some really weird ones. One ah pek was nice enough to part with his WP flag when we asked where he got it from *laughs* People were just in good spirits at them rallies so let's see how it goes tomorrow!

I'm about 85% ready to vote for the opposition! But Pasir Ris-Punggol is under Teo Chee Hean and I'm pretty sure the PAP team will win this year :o
If we had WP contesting, I'd vote for them in a HEARTBEAT but we gots the SDA. Chiam is good, not so sure about his cronies though.
