Argh.
Italy have gone through - that was to be expected. Althought I didn't expect to see that Czech player get yellow-carded twice. He's out. Doesn't matter now, though.

But the USA team lost to Ghana. Double Argh! Ghana..... first time entrants to the World Cup stage..... are they that good?? Watched the Italy-Czech match live, quick check on the net for the scores to the USA-Ghana match, now I'm debating if I showed stay up for the delayed telecast.

Holy crap - I have to comment on how the Germans are playing. Damned good soccer. Must be something about playing on home ground. Good for them!
