Comics are getting politically correct? Really?

Comic book heroine Batwoman is to make a comeback as a "lipstick lesbian" who moonlights as a crime fighter, a DC Comics spokesman has confirmed. Batwoman - real name Kathy Kane - will appear in 52, a year-long DC Comics publication that began this month.

I remember a time when comics were the last bastion of stereotypes. Big stong hulking men. Curvy, soft, sexy women. Damsels in distress and women that took your breath away. Heros that saved the day and earned a city's cheers.


Alas, that stupid political correctness is taking away all the damned fun.
