Love the attitude.
In fact, what I love most about cats is that they are, at heart, small, vicious animals.
Very loving to their families and friends, but death incarnate to anything that looks like lunch.
A garden-variety housecat would not have to be very much larger to be a very frightening animal. The wildcats in the mountains of North Carolina (called "bobcats" locally) are only about 30 lbs (not quite 14 kilograms) in size, but they routinely kill much, much larger animals than themselves.

Yes, I enjoy the fact that kitties are, at heart, wild :) I am very respectful of cats.
I've heard about those bobcats. We don't get them here, though.
