Not sure

MMMmmmmm.
Cold durian flesh.
There's something tantalising about durians that have been chilled.
Absolutely yummy.

Do you think I should introduce durians to my MasterChief?
Think he'll run away screaming from the smell?
Should I ask
Elisson, who seems to have spent a goodly amount of time on SE Asia?
What about Texas? Think I can get durians in Texas?

Imprtant questions, donchyerknow?

I have never heard of a durian. Where does this exotic fruit come from?

Hi Dana,
Durians are common in South East Asia. They're a fairly large-ish fruit (about 6 - 20 inches in length, depending on variety) and have a very thick, bittersweet flesh that's absolutely delicious.

But it is an incredibly acquired taste. Westerners here tend to run away from the fruit, which exudes a hugely pungent smell.

Paul, I might just do! :)

Which reminds me. the other day at the gym, i wanted to chat up the gym instructor. but my indonesian wasn't quite up to scratch. so i asked her, in indonesian, how i should train for a six pack. problem is i don't know what six pack is in indonesia. so i said "hey, you know how i can train to make my stomach like.. uhm... inside the durian like that?"

She guffawed. Which kinda killed the moment.

If you love durian, then by all means introduce it to MasterChief. Either he will hate it, or he will love it. No middle ground with durian.

You can find durians in Texas at Asian markets. Phew! Yum!

That's true, Elisson.... this is one of those things you either love or hate.
