Idle surfing time.
At the risk of jinxing myself, work has been slow for a Monday. Which is great because next year Feb onwards, we'll be shiftfaced with the annual policyholder statement.
But for now, I relax.
And I surf.
And lo, I find!
That's the USS Hogan. Amazing.
First commissioned in 1919 as a destroyer. Refitted and saw service again in 1940 as minesweeper, and finally sunk as target practice in 1945.
I think ships were still built with wood in the 1919s? :o
