Listless

Work was.... really slow to-day. We're at almost double staff strangth as the powers that be prepare for an influx of calls. After all, we're preparing to release our annual policyholders statement.

But it's not that busy now. The main crush has yet to come.

I suppose it's easy for some of the staff here. It's like being paid to do nothing. But for me? I'm already feeling edgy and restless. I could'vespent the entire day logged in to blogger - we were that relaxed. But I can't sit and not do something. I need to be busy.

But nothing comes to mind. I am either surfing my much-neglected blogroll, or dealing with stupid insurance agents, who aren't supposed to call us anyways.
*small sigh*
Perhaps no inspiration since there's no connection at home.

Ah well. Tomorrow is another day! Off! Perhaps it ought to be a beach day! :)

Thanks for your comment. I would be interested in your opinion about what was added to the "My Autobiography" post since your last visit. - thanks much!

Yes... Beach sounds good, especially since we awoke to 16 deg F. this morning. No snow or ice, just bitter cold. A warm sunny beach sounds most inviting...

Fiona on slow days read a good book. It works for me. :)

I'm with you sister. Without something to do, I'm a train wreck.

EuroYank,
Will do!

Winston,
I cannot go for long without a beach visit :)

Paul,
I normally curl up with a book every day. And most especially before I go to bed. It's a ritual I cannot ignore!

Rich,
I'm quite hyper that way so I always need something to keep busy with at work....
