Interesting, but incomplete

There's this article I came across entitled "How Ritz-Carlton Maintains its Mystique" and it's all about service and the sterling staff that they hire.

Ok, perhaps the article is meant to be motivational. But one thing they left out. Very important. This hotel chain treats their staff well. VERY WELL. They ensure that their staff are looked after and that their staff KNOW they are appreciated. This is perhaps the most important factor in staff retention. Hospitality is a tough industry to survive in but when you know you're working for someone who cares about you, my my...... you'll work your fingers to the bone before you give up.


In an industry that has a ridiculous turnover rate, the Ritz Carlton chain reigns supreme.
