Land of the Living

Right.
I'm back in the land of the living.

My my.... it's been three years since I had my migraines and I've just had another visitation. What a bloody bugger. Offline for good reason, since the computer is not in my bedroom and there's where I spent a day and a half curled up in bed.

No balance (I seemed to be hitting all the walls in my house), no vision (all nice and blurry), no lights, no heat (the weather hasn't been helping here, all muggy and hot) and no sounds. Apart from all that and a head that seemed to be on the verge of exploding, I was ok. My trigger was lack of sleep and inspite of spending my off day sleeping, I guess I should have seen it coming. But with no meds, it had a chance to develope into a full blown monster. Not even good old-fashioned throw ups would help. Fortunately, the doc was pretty good about it and gave me 2 more days off to give it a chance to bugger off and for me to rest up.

I'm a little concerned about the state of my health right about now. 2 weeks back, I had that tummy upset. Now it's my head. I am seriously wondering if my screwed up sleeping habits are wearing my immune system down.
*shakes head*
Time to get OCD on my health, I suspect. Fortunately, once it's past, it's gone and hey! back to normal! Blogging! OKCupid! News articles! Work! Argh! Work!! Thank god I had a chance to rest at home.... the constant calls wouldn't have done my head any good.

So what did I miss? Everyone still around? :)

Wow. My wife and son get migraines... they're brutal. Glad you're feeling better. Hope you stay that way.

Oh Rich,
I dont want them to come back either. A painfree life is a treasure we never can take for granted, eh? :D
