So busy

Well well well.
What an interesting evening it has been.

First off, Bernie and I headed off to Changi Village (again!! we never get tired of the place!) for good food. I had a craving for shrimp dumplings and there's a great shop that serves good stuff. No pictures of the carnage that ensued because.... I mean.... did you guys really want to see the awesome food we had? Yes? No? Ah, next time! :)

But we trotted off after that because I wanted sweet stuff. Tiramisu, to be exact, and off we went to the Changi Village Hotel. La Cantina, on the 8th floor, does a pretty decent dessert and that was our original destination.

We got diverted. Oh boy, did we get diverted. We never made it to the 8th floor. We got stuck into our sweet tooths on the ground level. The hotel cafe was serving their weekend dinner bufffet and we partook of the deserts. Yummy yummy yummy!!

The lobby is a great place to sit, unwind and people watch. And I always grab the opportunity to look up :)

The dessert options were particularly good... this is a sample of some of the chocolate pieces they had on display. And might I add, every SINGLE one was tasty. The kitchen did a fantastic job. Usually something somewhere will be Not Nice or Not Tasty but my, everything was good this time around! This was round 1. I think we went up to round 4. Heh.

How could I resist? haha.

Of course, after all that eating, being stuffed to the brim, it was time to relax! Part of the conversation was how the I had developed 2 separate stomachs. One for normal food, one of dessert. *chuckles* And as Bernie quipped.... Fi! I think I'm developing 2 tummies too! Yeah. Ok. The training is paying off :D

I have to share this with you guys : Bernie and I aren't afraid to cut up and let loose and half the time we were laughing and giggling away, fooling around with the camera. I don't know how it came up, but I asked Bernie if she could roll her tongue and cross her eyes at the same time.

Now, I can do this 6-year-old party trick on command. On command, I tell you. But apaprently she'd never crossed HER eyes before. Of course, I had to rectify this immensely important social skill STRAIGHT AWAY. The voice on the clip is mine, but the giggles at the end are all hers. lol.

Yeah, that was the tone of our entire evening. Most excellent!

Then off to the cybercafe we went to play SecondLife. It was bloody hilarious. Went through the basics with Bernie and she picked up on the shoftcuts... good. Passed her some clothing, avatar skins, etcetcetc.... good. Introduced her - all for curiousity's sake - to the "adult" rooms. And next thing I know, the woman's in a bloody chainmail bikini swishing around and collecting avid admirers in her wake. What on earth have I let loose?

I am awaiting the moment she tells me of her hordes of SL suitors. lol.

Still feeling the effects of the food and desserts. That's it, my quota of one indulgence per week is used up for the next 3 weeks. But absolutely worth it!
