..... by my conversion to perm staff
Like I told my Team Leader the other day... last time, on contract, I had an excuse not to care. Now I *must* care. But I look around me and I see the sort of staff we've taken on.. and I am feeling... well... buggered.
There's this one girl who's used up her entire leave bank. Annual = 14, medical = 14, and urgent = I don't know how many... that's 30 days and more she's not been at work. And this was as of July. I don't know why we're keeping her. If she'd been at work at any of the firms I'd worked for, she's be out on her ass by now.
Other's are not as bad... but they're getting there. *shakes head*
Sometimes I wonder - and this is not the first time - if good, diligent staff are being taken for granted? We keep your head down, you work, and you get stuff piled on you. You don't work, you go awol, excuses galore, and you still get paid.
Heh. Makes me wonder if I should just keep on going and not give a damn....
