Actually, that should be... the CHEEKIEST men, make the most protective fathers.
I'm on chat with a friend, and I've just found out he's got 4 daughters. Mayhem ensues and I think I've stopped laughing enough to reproduce this portion :))
R: when they get older i'm going to spend a lot of time in the garage i think
Me: LOL
Me: shit, i can't stop laughing now. lol
R: and i plan on buying a shotgun, keeping it in plain view right next to a dirty shovel
Me: oh? for the wannabe boyfriends?
R: exactly
Me: LOL
Me: it's always the cheekist men, who'll make the strictest fathers.
Me: that's exactly what an ex lover of mine said....
R: just the message, i have a shotgun, and may have used it, and have definately used the shovel, get it?
R: true, we know what our gender is capable of
Me: yes, i know.. they can join the dead one's in the back yard. lol
R: that's exactly the message i want them to get
R: if you make my daughter cry, i'll make you cry
That was hilarious!!
I'm telling you, everytime I speak to a Daddy, it's amazing... I talk to them as adults, as men, as friends. And there is this part of them that's great, equal, honest. And then I see the Daddy in them and it's loving, soft, and wonderful.
Perhaps because I am a woman.... mother's don't seem to interest me as much. Or perhaps because I was, once, myself a Daddy's girl. THAT much I acknowledge. Yes, I was a Daddy's girl. heh.
But it's amazing, I tell you....
Natural introvert, learned extrovert.

Shotgun? I have automatic firearms. Shotguns have one, two shots? Five if they're automatics? there's a ten shot magazine in the SKS.
Og,
I'll pass on your message :) I think R will appreciate your sentiment!
I don't believe in scaring people with guns. I have most of my war trophies hanging by the bar in my house. The boyfriends always wanna know why there is old dried blood on the bayonet. I don't know why but my daughters boyfriends are always very uncomfortable around me after I tell them how it got there.
Peace
Greg,
See? You too! :))
I am extremely amused at the reactions. And loving every minute of my reading!!
