Fiona,
The above table from site shows almost 5 minutes on Friday. By 7:30 PM it will probably be dark enough to see it. You have to click to various tabs to select - the skytrack button will show a 'map' as it will appear against the stars. The ISS will appear as a dimmish point when it moves from the atmospheric shadow into full sunlight. The directions of track are COMPASS directions N =0, S=180 etc. It moves pretty fast due to low orbit. It will wink out when it moves into the full earth's shadow. The orbit doesn't change, but the Earth rotates and it will appear in a different place next orbit, which may not be observable.
