Wow - this is what I call the Power of the Internet.

To explain.... I normally blog almost exclusively from work nowadays. So I'm logging in and ohHO!there's this comment on my last post re the article calling for excommunicating Bernard Madoff. Imagine my shock when the person who posted said comment was the person I quoted from.

:o That was super fast!

Anyhow, Rabbi Hammerman was kind enough to give me a link to his musings on Madoff. And mommy, it was educational! I have learnt more about Judaism in the last 15 minuutes than I have in a lifetime. And it's interesting. And thought provoking. And a definite eye opener.

Am very grateful I have had the opportunity to learn. It will take quite a while to read everything he has posted, and even more time to digest his thoughts. But that's ok.... it's chinese new year eve and it's dead quiet at work. I have time tonight. Heh.


I still don't agree with the idea of excommunication though....
