No blogging right now.

Work's crazy stupid busy : we just released the annual policyholder's statement. Manpower planning wasn't adjusted even though we ALL knew the avalanche that was coming. But it's ok. If management doesn't care, why should I, eh? I'll do my 8 hours and fuck off. I'll display devotion when I see it displayed from the top.

Performance appraisals were done : they were a fucking farce/facade/fuck-up. (pick your F work, they all apply). I know of no better way to demoralise an entire department then by setting unrealistic work targets and watching everyone fail. Lookit, 101 staff officially on record (those that didn't quit). Only ONE single person "passed". Oh wow. Wonderful odds, eh? Oh, and a TL who, though she says she tries, still leaves me wondering if she really has the team's interest at heart.

Whatever. Talk to the older staff and you'll see this same cynicism displayed.

Upside? I got to attend Bernadette's QT AND chakra workshops. woo! 2! So I am trying to use the QT breathing to stay calm. I'm actually trying to meditate. haha - me.. meditate... lol I'm hoping I'm going to stay calm throughout this period instead of fighting the temptation to haul off and hit someone. And during the chakra workshop, we were given a set of small stones/crystals to enhance our chakras? So now when I hold the crystals, I'll tell them :"You lot are mine now. Welcome home. Now help me, ok? " lol

I have pics that should've been loaded weeks ago..... but.. let me see... It's mid Feb and I've (1) had a holiday (2) attended 2 workshops (3) OOOooo... bought my sister bling for her 30th bday! So... make that a terribly busy AND expensive first eight weeks of 2009.


Dammit... the year hasn't even had the shine taken off yet....
