Doesn't that say something? About being a "leader"?

Yup... My TL is on maternity leave. Which is great. For her. Not for me.

The replacement staff are really newbies. With little cross training. And guess what? Precious TL didn't even take an interest in whether they were trained or not. So guess who stepped in?

Yup. Me. For fuck's sake, if I wanted responsibility, I would have stayed in corproate.

OOOoooo, and there's more! TL says.. wah Fiona, you are displaying such initiative! Fuck that, coming from her, it's pretty much taken with a LARGE pinch of salt. And gee, what does that say about you? That your so-called underlings have to step up and take over YOUR responsibility? To cover YOUR slack?

This is the same TL who scored a perfect ranking amongst all the other TLs. With no evaluation being done. Amazing, no?

Bah! If this sort of hand over had been witnessed in any of the previous corporations I'd worked with, this woman would NOT be coming back from her maternity leave, let me tell you.


So much for "leadership".


UPDATE : I'm at work now, and gee, the new lady can't even log in to the main platforms. Talk about zero accountability and zero hand over. An email asking people not to log out during critical time periods does not a hand over make! Argh! I am Majorly Frustrated with the powers that be!!
