Ah ha!

Found this little gem... literally... on Tioman Island.

s'called
Minang Cove and you can only get there by boat :)) Now waiting to see if they have available room! woo!

Ladies, if they have, want to go?

UPDATE : they're fully booked. :( Looks like I'll be staying home this year....

Have to tell you honestly, don't know why I have always resisted going to Tioman. But I popped over the Minang Cove website and you are right, it's gorgeous. Tempting walk through the jungle and beautiful beach, am a convert. And the villas would have been good for our small group. Maybe if we can book ahead (understand why place popular) for a trip later in the year or sumthing for a long weekend?

Babes,

I've never been to Tioman myself :)) I *may* have been brought there when I was like... knee high... but that's it. I really didn't know the beaches could be so picturesque.

Yes, I was thinking much the same thingie. Family villa sounds pretty large and well contained.

And I LOVE that it's only accessible by boat!

I found a lovely place on Tioman for ya, have to get there by boat, no roads, and MUCH cheaper than $200/day. ;-)

Hey - it was an actual photograph of the place - via a Goggle Earth layer double click! I did note that there were several resort areas around the island though, just that most were on the Malaysian coast side, with the biggest beach area being Juara Bay on the eastern side - at least from the satellite photos.
