I've just found the most amazing jump rope routine ever.
We don't have anything close in Singapore. One or two individuals approaching this level of talent, sure. But at that age? And so many?
No.
So to see this team perform was a real pleasure, let me tell you. Allow me to present to you the wonderful girls from The Firecrackers. These girls are from grade 4-8; or Pri 3 to Sec1 Singapore style. And audition from within the Kings Local School District in Ohio, USA.
What's cuter? The first time I caught this, it wasn't on YouTube and there weren't any titles. I was wondering (1) Why the audience was predominantly young, male, and uniformly dressed. Ah! Military game, perhaps? (2) Why the hell was there a bear amongst them? The young men started out from hmpf! jump rope! to woo woo woo!
Turns out it was a performance for the US Naval Academy this year. The Officers giving a stand ovation at the end was a dead giveaway too :))
Amazing performance!
