What a treat!

Ok, I owe you guys pictures.

I know, I know.... from don't-know-when. Actually, I think from jan09. So. 6 months. heh.

Sorry.

I have incentive now. I really do! Went to get my annual hair cut yesterday and took myself to
White Sands. Long story... but I was feeling good, I don't know why. I was feeling incredibly happy! I had just bought durians and Ramly Burgers as a treat for my family and the day just had a fantastically great vibe about it. I even took a feeder bus to and fro, when my norm would've been cabs lol.

Anyways, so I'm on my way home, sitting on the bus, laden with plastic bags and flatironed hair, grinning like an idiot. When something made me look up and out.

Good good. Iridescent clouds. Holy crap. Iridescent clouds.
In Singapore?!?!?!?
IRIDESCENT CLOUDS, PEOPLE.

I was muttering to mysef as I whipped out my phone. Snapped as quick as I could, the guy seated behind me was wondering what I was looking at as I leaned as close as I could to the bus window for clear shots.

I saw this. Once. JUST once last month when I was in Ko Samui (yes, I have as yet unloaded pictures too on my camera) and thought "That's it. Once in a life time. Mother-of-shell colours in the sky. Never in Singapore!"

And here I am, about one month later, and I see this. Can't tell you how excited I was.... Got off the bus and scrambled home to babble about this to my parents. lol And these 2 pics are from my phone camera.... imagine what the pictures could have turned out like if I had a proper camera and a steady tripod. *sigh* Gorgeous!!

I count myself really lucky!! And very blessed!

JimBob,
I'm sorry, I'm not too sure what the green blob is... it could be just a mark from my camera phone or the bus window.

I'll test my phone and see lol

Og,
If you've seen iridescent clouds before, you'll have to excuse my excitment *chuckles*

They're absolutely gorgeous!

(unlike me. haha. who can compete with THAT?)
