Been nursing a stuffed/stuck nose since Sat.
Didn't dick about it, this time. Saw my docter on Tuesday when it became apparent this isn't just a normal cold. I'm buggered if I'm going to suffer weeks of not sleeping courtesy of nasal congestion.
What I don't understand is WHY I am getting this. It's the second time this year. But prior to that, I've never had a sinus infection before. Ever. It sucks because your quality of sleep deteriorates tremendously; when I AM awake, I tire easily because it's hard to breathe.
And if you say there's a first time for everything, I'm going to come over there a thump you one. *wry grin* It's not funny! Not when you're the one that's sick.
OOOooo, and let's not forget my fluids. My sinuses ARE secreting fluid, but it's so viscuous that I can't blow my nose. Instead, I have to wait for it to pool so I can cough it out. Yum yum... lovely!
Worse, everything else about me is fine. So apart from having problems breathing easily (and it's a pretty big problem. heh), I feel perfectly fine. In a way, I'm feeling lousy because if I'm going to be sick, I want to be sick ALL the way. Not some pansy-assed spongy area up my nose that can't dry up.
Damn... I hate being sickish.... it's neither here nor there.....

i know you've probably been told this 200 times but let me chime in, point to the burnt air rant below, and suggest you wear a respirator anywhere you're away from filtered, conditioned air, at least for a while. You might just need to give your sinuses/lungs a Break.
Og,
Thanks for the suggestion! But am much better now. :)
