Just caught Avatar. I am impressed with how well fleshed-out Pandora is. And yes, at the appropriate tragic moments, I shed a tear. The movie strikes me as nothing more than an epic love story, with personal redemption thrown in. There is nothing new in terms of ideas. But it's a grand story, aye; well worth your time. So go watch :) James Cameron is forgiven for the horror that is the Titanic! (PS Sigourney Weaver looks AMAZING. I love this woman!)


Am throwing a dinner party for my colleagues this Tues, sort of a thank you. Not a lot, about 10 people in all. But get this, the typically Singaporean ones asked if they could bring their kids. Hello? I invited you, I did not say you and family. If you ask, I am forced to say yes, which I am loathe. If I say no, you'll feel stupid for having asked. I asked one woman point blank "how many did you intend to bring?"
*shakes head*
Singaporeans. Sometimes I miss my corporate life because of stupid encounters like this.


But apart from that? I think I'm all set. How's that for a change?
