Man... this is too good not to share.
Look, my company insures vehicles. For private cars, policyholders are now allowed to add 2 people to the policy (Named Drivers) so they're covered too, on the same terms and conditions.
One would assume that people you add to your policy would be people you know well, yes? Cars are expensive pieces of machinery, yes? You pay for your COE, on top of your car, yes? You don't trust your car to any tom, dick or harry, yes?
No.
Will wonders never cease?
Again, no.
The levels of stupidty reach ever increasing depths now.... nothing surprises me anymore. All I can do is share it with you guys and laugh....
Guy calls, he's asking for his named driver's data. Lookit, when you request to add the person to your policy, all the form asks for is driving license data and date of birth. No address or contact number is required. You're the policyholder, it's YOUR responsibility.
Heh. Turns out this guy's named driver ran off with the car. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAAA. Guy tells me in a severe tone of voice "do you understand the gravity of the situation?" The irony just kills me!
Yes! I do understand! But you apparently don't!

Mr M,
It's not a job for everyone, no. :) And yes, I get seriously frustrated sometimes! But for some reason I'm extraordinarily good at it. lol.
But for the morons.... the Ice Queen appears and gives them attitude, brooks no nonsense. Heh.
