Ah, movies!

Thoughts about movies...

I caught Kick Ass. Pretty good stuff right there. Not your normal average Marvel comic adaption. More like Watchmen, which blew me away. And by the way, it IS rated for violence. In one scene, a girl - not woman, not a superhero, but a small girl - gets beat up. Of course, she's THE heroine and she survives to kill everyone else. But still, I was a little shocked. Talk about "edgy" movie making!

Ah, of course, it's a Lions Gate film! Why am I not surprised? Lions Gate has consistently gone for movies with a twist and I've learnt to watch out for their releases.

Next on my list... The Losers, primarily because I want to have Jeffrey Dean Morgan's child, lol. But AS AN ACTION MOVIE it looks good. I'd go catch it anyways ;)
