The perils of shift work

Aaaaand I'll all set for a night at work with all systems down for scheduled maintenance. Brought my lappie; StarCraft1 is loaded, I have 7 movie titles on hand, my dinner is waiting and I have a spare pack of ciggies.

Heh. Let the fun begin!

Sounds like a plan. I've been playing Starcraft 1 for a week now. I still can't get past the "Trump Card" mission. The others have been okay enough, but this one is kicking my ass. If you smack it, let me know how.

have a good shift!

I am doing to have to go and try the missions myself again now. Your enthusiasm is infectious!

I never played the game when it first came out so I guess I'm making up for lost time. I've got a few issues w/it but it's been fun so far. I *am* getting close to burn-out on this particular mission tho. =P may have to go back to diablo for a little respite. eek!

*gasps*

You play Diablo?
ARGH! JOHN! Where have you been all my life?

Ok, ok..... you're seriously married. :D But do you have a brother who also likes kitties and likewise a gamer? lol

sorry, hon...I fear I've been on the other side of the world...Don't worry though....my wife probably won't last more than another 50 years or so. Wait for me? We can play starcraft and diablo in the nursing home. If they have broadband.

Oh. I play WoW too. And have been a tabletop rpg'er since '77.

My name's john, and I'm a geek.

John,

This just cracked me up! lol. You're hilarious! You should let this funny side of you show more. Perhaps blog for yourself, instead of Maddie? :))

PS - you remind me of a time when I used to date geeks almost exclusively. Wish I could more more of'em!

Why, thank you. You're very kind. I've thought about doing more types of blogging, but ahhhhh, the pressure. Don't want to have to feel that I should be funny on a schedule. Not that I don't try to slide stuff by and make get Maddie to take the blame on a regular basis... And God knows I don't ever want to think that I'm actually being profound. What a twat I'd be! For now I think I'll stick with cat-blogging. I might grow a big head at some point and think everyone should know what's up in my cabeza, but I'll count on you to keep me grounded! later!

nooooo.... no twatheads, no schedules.... just for yourself, once in a while :)

But whatever you care to blog, I'd be happy to read!
