Home away from home

OOOoooo...most excellent!

We've picked our apartment in Barcelona and are now awaiting their confirmation.


You know, rentals over there seem so much more affordable than the hotels. Sure, there's no maid service every day, nor is there a buffet breakfast waiting for us downstairs. But the rooms are tiny :o Small small small. A triple literally means you have three beds spanning the length of the room itself. That's how small it is. I knew European hotels had small-ish rooms, but I've been pampered by the decent sized ones here in Asia. No can do.

So we're going ahead with a 2 bedroom apartment complete with washing machine and full kitchen. And it works out to be about 20 euros cheaper. Per person per night. Not too shabby.


If the reviews are unbiased, then we've got a good deal with a decent company. We've done our homework and exercised due diligence; so far so good.
