So I'm on the bus, going to work. Am plugged into my phone, which has a radio funtion. And one of my favourite radio stations was having it's usual "themed" weekend. And this week's theme? An All Party Weekend. Which somehow translated into 80s music.
I tell you, I was trying to bop discretely in my seat on the bus. heh.
There was UpTown Girl from Billy Joel, Square Room from Corey Hart, Let's Dance from David Bowie. Stuff from Fine Young Cannibals , New Order, Gloria Estefan & the Miami Sound Machine, Eurasure.... the list went on!
I'd like to think that the 80s was my "greatest" period to date. The most highs and lows I'd ever experienced, like the rollercoaster of life had me firmly in it's grip. And the music.... the music, for me, was fantastic. And I confess it makes me quite nostalgic.
Oh well.
Natural introvert, learned extrovert.
