Dilemma

So the boss spoke to me this morning, just after I finished my shift - night shift for her team is to be struck off because they cannot afford it.

Doh! Cannot afford it? Did they not think through
(1) the manpower requirements and
(2) their P/L forecasts before hiring staff on a SIX month contract?

Ahem.
Men are definitely not all created equal. And I can say this with equanimity because I used to run my own teams - I know what needs to be considered, and I can tell when a major fuck-up has occured. After everything's said and done, I shall be moved in about 2 weeks from Boss's team to another sister company's team and I am NOT looking forward to it, although I shall stick it through so I have at least some money coming in for the next 2 months.


I suspect my return to corporate is imminent.
