By the way, I'm still paying the price for my beach foray.
I normally take a tan well. I only turn red slightly, I go all browny and stay that way. Last time I deliberately tanned, it took about 8 months for the tan lines to fade. Then it was white belly time again but that's another story.
This is me after the beach. I had 2-toned legs but oh kay, I could live with that. It was a nice, healthy looking, glowing tan.
Crap, was I wrong.
My face started peeling on day 3 thereabouts, finished off and voila! a natural exfoliation. Ok. Good. All done, I thought. Then my back started. Damn, this is going to take a little while longer. Then shit, my arms started.
And now, 11 days later, my bloody thighs and knees.
Does it normally take this long to peel after a sunburn? 2 weeks? 3? Possibly 4? Does this mean I'll have to take a loofah in with me and scrub myself down every time I shower? Instead of a 2 toned body, does this mean I am now multi-hued since the new skin is slighter than my original tan, but still darker than my normal?
Argh!
Natural introvert, learned extrovert.
