Sky + maudlin thoughts

Stepped out for a smoke before my shower - off to work in a bit. But I looked up and boy! It didn't look like an evening sky. It looked like a noon sky. The only thing that gives the timing away are the shadows.

On impluse, I stepped around. And took a shot of the block across the road from mine. Now this is what looks like evening sky.

Just as I found out about early morning sunlight, looks like evening light moves fast as well!

An old acquaintence messaged me on MSN last night - he'd seen the pictures on my blog. I was a little taken aback when he asked "Is photography a hobby of yours?" Nope. Ain't. But I like taking pics, if there's something that catches my eye.

I want to look back in 10? 15? years time and see what I've written. What held my attention. What caught my eye. What was important.

Suspect there'll be some parts of me that won't recognise the other bits of me.
