I just don't get it.

You set up a blog. You get on it and write, rant, cuss, let loose and everything else inbetween. And you post an AVATAR of yourself. Especially the ones from female bloggers - you know the kind..... done with all the unreal curves, some done in the style of classic pin-ups, all showing a little leg, or cleavage.

Guess I'm just curious (and, I confess, a tad irritated) about all those cutesy images. Sure, your own blog, your own kingdom, your right to chose how you want to represent yourself.


But sometimes I cannot help but wonder - is this how they really seem themselves?
